Ingredients

  • 4 Pork chops -- smoked
  • 1 /2 ts Sage -- ground
  • 1 /4 ts Salt
  • 1 /4 ts Pepper
  • 1 /4 c Raisins -- seedless
  • 1 sm Apple, tart -- cored &
  • Sliced
  • 1 tb Flour -- all-purpose
  • 1 /4 c Fruit juice -- or water
  • 1 1 /2 ts Vinegar -- cider
  • 2 tb Sugar, brown -- firmly
  • Packed

How to make

Grill chops over hot coals 10 minutes.Place on heavy-duty aluminum

foil; sprinkle with sage, satl, and pepper. Top with raisins and

apple; set aside.

Combine flour and water; cook over low heat, stirring constantly,

until slightly thickened.Stir in vinegar and brown sugar; pour over

chops. Seal securely. Return to grill for 30 minutes or until tender.
